FAMOUS PLAYERS
The University of Western Australia is fortunate to have been blessed with quality people, let alone quality players, over the many years.
As the first tertiary institution in Western Australia it was inevitable to have the greatest achievers and contibutors to Western Australia society in the ealy years.
Many of these players are recognised here.
This tradition has continued in recent years with people and players that espouse the virtues of the University.
UWA Rugby Club is proud to present a series of short biographies of the playing and employment careers of renowned UWA Rugby Club players.
The Players are collated in the following categories
In 2004 UWA Rugby celebrated its 75th Birthday. Presented at that dinner was a "Best Teams of the 75 Years of Uni Rugby". To view who made the two teams for this era see below.
In 2009 UWA Rugby celebrated its 80th birthday. Presented at that dinner were "Teams of the Decades". Selected by luminaries of each decade, the selected teams are presented below with an overview of all the teams collated together.
